Jack Bauer in a Dress
I love Jack Bauer, I love Kiefer Sutherland even more. That low, rugged, sexy voice... Oh I feel like he's always ready to rip my shirt and then... SWOOOOOOOOOOON.
Must-resist-the-fantasy-and-continue-writing...The eight season of 24 is going to start soon (EIGHT? Where have I been?), this is why I think he's doing some kind of late-night promo on David Letterman. Apparently he lost a bet, and because of that... THIS HAPPENED:
I hope there's a ninth season of 24 or some other Kiefer Sutherland project, so he can lose another bet and hopefully wear this into an interview:
Bank of America on the other hand, would not approve.

Sudafed
I started watching Glee when it first came out in May as a sneak preview of Fox's new fall television line up. I have to say that the show is not bad: its new, its creative, and it involves a musical. People are always saying that tv musicals are a big no-no, and I feel personally that Fox was also skeptical about it in the beginning, that's why they did that whole one episode sneak peek thing. However, it has been proven successful now and I finally have something to write about. On last night's episode, the new nurse (aka Mr. Schuester's wife) gave Pseudoephedrine (aka Sudafed) to members of the Glee club so they can be up and perky all day long. Yes, pseudoephedrine can give out the same effects as speed or adderall. But, she claimed OVER THE COUNTER Sudafed can make you do this.

Well, as far as I know in NY state, that the thing she's talking about is not allowed to be sold over the counter. The Sudafed that you see over the counter doesn't even have the psedoephedrine in it. I personally find it just as a placebo medicine that doesn't even decongest your nose. It really does suck and a big waste of money.

(yeah, "new formula") VS. the good shit
So to get the REAL shit, you have to go to the pharmacy and give your information (aka driver's liscense) just to get one lousy box of the medicine. The reason why they started doing it is because a lot of people started buying Sudafed by the load to make their own trailer park meth lab... Yes, they do share a common ingredients. And I know some of you out there might argue that the show is technically located in "Ohio" therefore the law might make it different. Ok, fine. I did my research and after another 10 minutes of so I found the "Sudafed Law." And its a FEDERAL LAW.

So yes, I am going to be anal about this minor little detail in yesterday's show, because it wasn't possible to buy 36 boxes of Sudafed without being arrested for just REQUESTING it. Redonkulous and a mild smear campaign against Sudafed.
Here's a clip from this week's show, a mash-up between Bon Jovi's "Its My Life" vs. Usher's "Confessions."

4:20: FOX edition
Alright you hoes, I'm writing up a storm to make it up for you dissapointed readers that were waiting for some kind of an update last week. Here are more shows for you to watch today. Weather really sucks, so STAY AT HOME and conserve your energy! Man, I really want a smoothie now... but its raining outside... hmm... maybe not. I wonder if they have a delivery service... Seriously, its only an avenue away, so I might grow some balls and venture out. (Not that I'm afraid of the rain or anything).
ANYWAYS
I personally believe that FOX reigns on Sunday nights, as their lineup includes:
American Dad
The Simpsons (featuring ANNE HATHAWAY!)
and Family Guy
My God, FOX is wonderful. And btw, all these cartoons yesterday was somewhat drug related (more homage to 4:20). On top of all of this, there was also Sit Down and Shut Up (read post below). I'm really going to be super anti-social now on Sundays. Sorry for those that are reading this outside the USA as you might not be able to watch it. But YOU ARE WELCOME AGAIN! I'm off to go for a mani/pedi/facial/spa crap. HAHAHA.
UPDATE: I can't believe that I'm actually getting the munchies by just watching Family Guy, this is bad... Milk Bar here I come!
Sit Down, Shut Up

Why hello? I bumped on this show in Hulu and I don't know how I feel about it...
I guess its GREAT! Go watch it you people that's already high and give me some feedback?
Its supposedly dubbed to be the next comedy show on FOX that'll be as great as Arrested Development. [Because its from the same creater as AD, Mitchell Hurwitz!!]
Please don't compare this show to AD, as AD is supremely brilliant. But just give it a chance, I liked it, so can you!
Here's a scene:
audience: "PORNO PORNO PORNO PORNO!""
teacher: "PORNO PORN... NO PORN NO PORN NO PORN!"
"I'm trying to teach the kids to not watch porn"
Its about the faculty of Knob Haven High School and its a cartoon. The science teacher in the school is called "Miracle Grohe" and she believes in creationism. The German teacher is called Willard Deutschebog (haha, get it). The cast includes Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, Kristin Chenoweth, and Kenan Thompson.
I think this show is just going to get better. Watch this space.

Somebody is Going to be Majorly F*cked

Somebody in Fox "accidentally" LEAKED the new "Wolverine" movie. Hugh Jackman himself is probably going to be the one that rips this person a new one.
UPDATE: I actually feel bad for posting the links, so I took them down, but its still easy to find. HINT: GO TO TVSHACK.NET
Before they pull it out too quickly like somebody that has a premature ejaculation problem. I don't know if I can get into actual trouble for doing this (as I'm new to blogging so forgive me Fox), but so far the first 5 minutes of the movie is alright and the quality is pretty good, the movie hasn't finished its last processing of their CGI, so the plane and the guns looks like 3D images. If you are one of those people that won't watch the movie because its not going to support the studios... then suit yourself (but GOOD FOR YOU). Its already too late for me, I mean I can't just watch the first 5 minutes and stop can I?
You know what would suck for Fox? If I actually stop watching it because I feel this movie has potential to be horrendous... But its filled with HOT HOT guys, so probably not going to stop staring at them. Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds, hello BICEPS!

The New Introduction
In case you haven't seen the spanking-brand-new intro of The Simpsons, watch the clip below:
After 20 and a half season of the same old intro, I guess Matt Groening or the people at FOX (or both) got bored and changed it. The TV at the end is changed to a HD flat screen (at least that's what I assumed). If you don't know what I'm talking about, just watch it. If you've never seen an episode of The Simpsons in your life, SHAME ON YOU! Go start now by watching this clip. Also, Marge has a girl-on-girl kissing scene in this episode. Enjoy
Just a side note: I love Hulu...

Don't Even Bother Lying

Have you heard about Lie to Me? Its a brand new show from FOX, the same people that brings you Fringe. You guys know how I feel about that show... I was supremely hesitant on starting a new series especially when midterms are coming soon, who the fuck am I kidding, I don't care about midterms. But, since there's been quite a buzz surrounding this show, I decided to watch it. Also, its from the same producer as 24, but I doubt its as good.
Here's a list that I made after watching the pilot:
- Tim Roth
- Follows the successful TV formula (a murder happened, oh got a lead on the suspect, interrogate him for 25 minutes, found out later that he's innocent, cliffhanger, commercial, SWAT team, guilty guy in jail) TA-DAH! famous example of this formula is all the CSIs.
- Hot "Radical Honesty" guy aka Brendan Hines.
- Interesting new concept for a show: Roth's character can "read" people's faces and tell if they're lying or not (through MICRO facial expression). From the way you move your EYEBROWS, he can tell if you are sad or ashamed. He doesn't need autopsies, they're for pussies.
- Unfortunately its quite predictable (as of the pilot). But people like predictable, its safe.
- But still good enough to get you just hooked. Going to watch 2nd episode now.
If you like 2 out of the 6 reasons here, then you should definitely watch it.
DISCLAIMER: this is just a TV show, its based on reality, but its NOT reality. So, don't use this show as a textbook on how to read people's body language. Haha!
Do you think that somebody is an expert body reader to Tim Roth's extreme degree?
Here's the link - via Hulu
*Thanks Sabreen for the tip.

Shows with Strong Pilots (SWSP), but...
kinda sucks. Oh, and i'm talking about Fringe, that show on FOX. Sorry for fans out there, but even i know that this is not real science and therefore you shouldn't be getting your "science" education from this show. So, this is a note i posted on facebook, and somehow it initiated this whole blog movement (with 4 viewerships that i get because my friends pity me). Its not pity sex, its pity reading. Here it is:

*how i'm feeling about the show right now.
1. for some reason, J.J. needs/likes to kill the love of the protagonist's life at the FIRST episode (also in Alias). why is this? i don't know, maybe he has some mother problems or attachment issues. but if he makes a new show/movie right after this, expect someone to die in the first episode. wait, he DOES have a new movie out soon... "Star Trek," expect deaths people. don't get too attached to the characters (like i did).
2. he also still likes to put in suspenseful freaky music RIGHT before the commercials (both in Alias and Lost). WHY DOES HE DO THIS? it creeps the shit out of me. i was watching this show with limited interruption from the movie "the uninvited (HOrror movie)," courtesy of hulu.com. seriously, it was just not pleasant.
3. ok, and lastly, J.J. likes the concept of "oh the universe already has a plan for all of us" kind of crap. "Rambaldi" in alias. and "the Island" in lost. now, in this spectacular new show, its called "the Pattern" where everything in the world happens for a purpose, and basically if you're part of "the Pattern," you're sooooooo fucked.
4. no, actually this is the last one, J.J. would always end his episodes with a MAJOR cliff hanger, the ones that will make you NOT sleep and instead watch this ridiculous show till 11am.
so fuck you and thank you J.J. Abrams.
*sorry to friends who wants to chill tmrw, but there's a 30% chance that i will get out of my room.
UPDATE: THIS SHOW KINDA SUCKS. 2nd episode was a major downgrade. like MAJOR. my recommendation: DON'T COMMIT! but maybe give them the ratings once in a while.
UPDATE II: uh, i finished 11 episodes in a row, so maybe its not so bad after all.
