OH SWEET MOTHER OF MARY!

Chuck from NBC hasn't been my favorite show, I didn't care if it was getting cancelled or if it stayed. But lately, I finally realized that this show was my ULTIMATE guilty pleasure. And the fact that Brandon Routh (of Superman fame) is given a short recurring role also helped me a lot in repeatedly returning to it. For some reason, Agent Shaw here ended up being topless. It would be lying if I didn't say that my heart rate jumped up a notch or a hundred. Maybe I swooned a bit... ok fine, I SWOOOOOOOOOONED at the sight of his topless body.

YES McG! MORE PLEASE! He should just do all his scenes right after he takes a shower (and is apparently greased up by some kind of baby oil [I suspect its Johnson & Johnson]). Rating problems: SOLVED!

MOOBS

Again, this might be NSFW, but I mean they showed it on primetime television, so it should be definitely safe for work, but not your eyes...

Danny, the winner from "The Biggest Loser," went on another television show called "The Doctors" to get some consultation on what he should do with his excess skin. So, he lifted up his shirt and... Yeah, there's like a good foot-long of extra skin that's just hanging around. Its basically nudity, but since its moobs, they don't need to censor those... DOUBLE STANDARDS! Well, since it looks more like deflated moobs, I don't know if you can still categorize them as "moobs."

But are moobs better than no boobs? If you really have strong opinions about this, leave it at the comments.

Talk About AWKWARD

(photo from another previous episode)
We were just watching last night's episode of Jay Leno because Chelsea Handler was on to promote her new book. This blog has been proclaimed to be a CHELSEA HANDLER FAN!

I don't know what kind of weird, perverted, sexual tension was going on, but it was inappropriately awkward. There's a motel scene, with a vibrating bed, and both of them lying in it together. Maybe its a joke, but Mr. Leno here needs to keep his hand up in the air where everybody can see it.

Jay, don't even bother because Chelsea is WAY OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE!

Sorry for international readers, I can't seem to find the clip anywhere else besides Hulu. And I know how Hulu is a bitch to anybody living outside the U.S.A. But here's the first part of the interview if you are interested in watching:

The Conan Debacle

The time has finally came where I voiced out my opinion about this whole Late Night Talkshow debacle:

CRAIG FERGUSON FOR THE WIN!

Sorry, that was insensitive, but seriously Conan, just go fuck NBC back in their ass again. Stay put at YOUR 11:35 time slot and let NBC sweat a lot of PR money trying to remedy this fuck-up that they started. When someone does a bitch move like that, you gotta keep you pimp hand STRONG CONAN!

And for those that hasn't started watching late night shows, I already put my recommendations everywhere.

UPDATE: Conan has been given the shaft. Jay Leno gets his beloved 11:35-12:35 slot again. Life is not fair, so good luck in suing NBC! You deserve better than this.

The Sing-Off

Glee fever is sweeping over the nation and NBC decided to take a slice of the cake, by putting on a reality show competition on accapella groups... The show is called The Sing-Off... (insert your own joke here)

While watching the pilot, the only reaction I have is: Uh, what the hell is this? No offense to the singers, they have wonderful voices but... its BEYOND lame. You know when you watch something and you get a knot in your stomach and you feel your skin crawling under you? Well, that sums up the entire show. Just make it stop.

I know some people will miss Glee in their 4 months hiatus, but watching this is like dating your worst rebound ever. EVER!

And this was the tipping point to the bad side

Nick Lachey as the host ... NO NBC, NO!

A Sad Epiphany

I cried, while watching last night's episode of The Office. To be exact I cried while watching Jim and Pam got married. What is wrong with me? Is my cold cold heart finally melting? Or is it because I have watched them for 5 seasons and now consider them as my fictional friends? BEYOND SAD!

The scene is by the 2:30 minutes mark.

I'll be gone for another 2-3 weeks again. So if there's a lack of updates. I apologize now.

AHAHAHA

I just read that "Kings" will be yanked out of NBC due to poor ratings... ONLY AFTER 4 EPISODES!!!

The last 8 episodes will air on SATURDAY night, starting this week. Saturday night is DEATH night for TV, as everyone is usually out rather than stay at home watching TV (I'm the exception). I feel bad as the show had potential, but yeah it was just MEH. I've actually been following it, but I'm clearly not sad that its being cancelled. This is actually quite hilarious.

If God Loves You, You Will Also Be Saved by a Self-Sacrificing Pigeon

I'm pretty sure you TV freaks have heard of this show called "Kings."

Before I begin, here's the synopsis:
The show is about what would happen if a modern monarchy exists. I know where the question is going to go from here, "What about the Queen of England?" No, Her Madgesty the Queen in England does not have real power anymore, therefore its not really a monarchy. Back to the plotline: There is a king (on the left) who rules an obviously fictitious land called "Gilboa," which oddly looks remarkably like New York City.

Its good. Like real good. I'm going to admit that when I watched the first 5 minutes of the show I was giddy as a cracked out kid in a candy store. I love watching new shows, its like weekly Christmas presents to me (that is until the present starts turning out to be a pile of turd). Its a little bit dramatic, but I recommend you to watch the first episode. I wanted to write this post a few days earlier right after I saw the pilot, but I was wary that it would be a SWSP (show with strong pilot).  So I waited till Sunday for the second episode, and I have a few comments to write about it (as always):
  • Its trying to be like "Lost," with all the "hidden" messages, foreshadowing and symbolism. Really, they're trying too hard. Well, actually I'm not surprised as it is the same producers as "Heroes"... and I'm not going to comment on Heroes as I do not want to offend some people. I just don't like watching Heroes because it is TOO DEPRESSING. People were like, "it gets better by the 7th episode." FUCK. NO. J.J. Abrams already spoiled me with those things. He was my first...
  • Of course David Sheppard (on the right) is the purest, most naive, untainted character that later be corrupted with power, which will cause him to try to assassinate the king in order to take over the land. I don't know if that's really going to happen, but I'm predicting that it will. FAKE SPOILER ALERT!
  • Biblical References GALORE! I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.
  • Every problem is solved with conveniency. Oh wait, he was saved from a SNIPER SHOT because the pigeon was apparently FLYING right in front of the bullet, dodging him from death? How convenient.
But so far so good. If you are bored, watch first episode here:
