I'm 22 and Still Watching Cartoons...

I was talking with a friend about cartoons and he mentioned that some cartoons are just plain bizzaro and peculiar such as Spongebob Squarepants. I personally love Spongebob, however I never fully understood if there's any meaning behind it. Believe me, I tried watching that show under the influence of many many things and I still don't get what the point of that cartoon is. I shouldn't be analyzing cartoons for kids, there's a lot of other things to do with my time. Or is there? But if any of you have any theories to Spongebob, please enlighten me.

ANYWAYS, he then sent me a this old cartoon, called "The Dirdy Birdy," that was shown in MTV a while back ago (like mid 90's). I find it really adorable, and the music is pretty great also. Its made by the same people that brought you "Courage the Cowardly Dog." Please watch it as it's my BIRTHDAY today, yes, I'm emotionally black-mailing you. Enjoy. But on a serious note, thanks to all of you that have been reading my blog, I truly appreciate it :D

*Thanks Anonymous for the tip

INSPIRATION

I get it from dlisted

I have been visiting this site (DAILY) for more than 2 years and it still hasn't yet to disappoint. Michael K is my universe (in the interweb sense) as he posted this shit yesterday:

And its DEFINITELY a must-watch. Here's a brief description from Mr. K himself:
"The Charmings, the entire TV show - This was the biggest piece of TV shit from the 80s, but it's a million times better than half the crap that's on now. The show's premise was simple: Snow White and her Prince Charming were magically transported to 1987 California."

COME ON! HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE IT? I probably need to Youtube this entire series today.

Mr. Bean Raised Me...

and gave me bad taste in food. Does that look appetizing to you? I personally never tasted it, but I know for a fact that it is DISGUSTING! It could be described as twigs dipped in marmite, MARMITE? HAVE YOU TRIED THAT? Its black, gooey, and supremely bitter. A better word to describe it: NASTY. (I'm not talking to you Australians because I know its like the equivalent of ketchup there). I shouldn't be so prejudiced as people are the same to me towards my love of SPAM.

"But Mr. Bean liked it so much that I learn to like it. Mr. Bean raised me! ARE YOU KIDDING??!"

Yes, are you kidding?
I get my daily inspirations from my friends. They endlessly amaze me.

Here's the video, fast forward to 3:15 to know what she's talking about. This is a CLEAR product placement for both Marmite and Twiglets.

What I Was Watching While Having My Manicure

/span>

They usually play Gossip Girl, but today I got a treat :)
and its called Mr. Bean. I remember when I was just a little kid,
I use to watch this show with my dad.
I'm pretty sure that this is his favorite show.
He used to laugh like a freaking maniac watching this,
the kind of laugh that kinda scares little children.
Just brought me flashbacks, good ones though.
I should share some good memories that TV gave me.

On a sadder note, my cousin informed me that Rowan Atkinson
suffers from clinical depression.
Anyhoo, he did manage to safely land a plane once.

Here's my favorite clip:

Do you have abondonment issues? Do you like Will Smith? Do you want to feel sad?

Then this is the right clip for you. I didn't even know that The Fresh Prince of Bel Air could get this serious. The Youtube comment said that this was one of the saddest moment in the show's history. Personally I've never been too keen on this show, because there's always other shows to watch during that time of the night (at Nick at Night). But this is for my older generation viewerships; thank you for the tip and request. Enjoy.
